    Curtis Pritchard has shared his hopes at making Strictly Come Dancing history.

    The 27-year-old reality star has revealed he'd love to become the first ever Love Island star to take part in the BBC One competition.

    Before finding fame in the villa, the choreographer appeared as a professional dancer on the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars.

    His older brother AJ Pritchard famously found fame as a professional dancer on the show and Curtis is now hoping to following in his footsteps.

    Speaking to Daily Star at the National Reality TV Awards, Curtis said: "I'm a professional dancer so I couldn't be a contestant but i'd love to give it ago.

    "They've never taken a Love Islander have they? There's always a first. I could be one of the pro dancers."

    Curtis appeared on Love Island back in 2019 and his since appeared on Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins and The Challenge alongside AJ.

    However, he may have a battle on his as reports suggest that Zara McDermott could be the first Love Island star to land a spot on Strictly.

    The documentary maker, 26, is reportedly set to sign up for the competition after having talks with show bosses.

    Zara famously appeared on Love Island back in 2018 and his since found love with Love Island: The Morning After podcast host Sam Thompson.

    According to MailOnline, having Zara on the programme with attract a younger audience.

    A source told the publication: "Zara is the perfect signing for Strictly, not only is she beautiful and glamorous but she is hardworking and will take being on the show very seriously.

    "She's absolutely loved the experience of documentary making and is over the moon to further her relationship with the BBC by signing up to Strictly.

    "It is a dream come true for her and becoming the first former Love Island star to do so is the icing on the cake."
