Love Island secret sign ‘exposed’ as fans clock boys ‘all wearing same necklace’

    Love Island is back in full swing after the winter series returned to the airwaves with a bang earlier this month.

    As the series enters its third week on the airwaves, there has been plenty of drama including tense recouplings to sizzling bombshells.

    While most fans are fixated on the budding romances, other eagle-eyed viewers can’t help but pick up on a new trend which is taking the villa by storm.

    From the first day, Essex lad Ron Hall has sported a pearl necklace and matching bracelet which fans have supported online.

    One user penned: “Ron wearing that matching pearl necklace and bracelet set, yes fashion queen #loveisland.”

    Another agreed: “The way ron is pulling that pearl necklace off tho #LoveIsland,” as a third echoed: “The pearls, rings and sunglasses I’m OBSESSED.”

    But he’s not the only Islander who seems to be a fan of the staple jewellery must have, after bombshell Tom Clare and farmer Will Young have been spotted wearing the must-have accessory around the villa.

    Now, one fan has shared the origin behind the accessory trend on Reddit which they have attributed to none other than fashion God, Harry Styled.

    They wrote: “IF you’ve seen The Devil Wears Prada think of the necklaces as Andie’s cerulean sweater. They are a watered down trend that began with men like Harry Styles and style influencers on TikTok… several years ago.

    “They’ve finally watered down enough to become heteronormative enough for the average, trendy straight man’s wardrobe.”

    But some are convinced that the villa boys have formed a secret "club" with each member wearing a pearl necklace on the show.

    One user penned: “I swear the boys bought those pearl necklaces on their ‘day out’ down at the Beach #LoveIsland.”

    Another agreed: “Are all the boys involved in some s**t necklace club? #loveisland.”

    A third chimed in with: “Where have all these pearl necklaces come from that all the boys are wearing [two crying emojis] #loveisland.”
