Love is Blind is coming to the UK! Fans go wild as British series is announced

Love is Blind is coming to the UK and fans of the series couldn't be more excited about it.

Netflix has just announced that they're working on a UK version of the hit reality show Love is Blind and are currently on the lookout for new applicants.

Love is Blind sees married couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey host a social experiment where single men and women who are looking for love get to know each other and later get engaged before meeting in person.

The streaming service is now accepting applications for people interested on being on what will be the first British season of the controversial series.

Earlier today, Netflix UK took to Twitter and wrote: "Big news: Love is Blind is coming to the UK!"

They also added the link to where new applicants can sign up.

The listing states: "Welcome! Thank you for your interest in applying for Love is Blind: UK.

"Please fill in this short application form and one of the team will get back to you if they would like to proceed with your application.

"Please note, due to the anticipated high volume of applicants the team cannot get back to every applicant.

"Closing dates for applicants is 1st June 2023. We reserve the right to extend or close the application process at any time in our sole discretion for any reason and without notice."

No further details have been released yet but Love is Blind fans are already excited about a British version of the dating series.

Fans were ecstatic to hear the news as the show has become one of Netflix's most popular reality shows.

One person said: "Now you’ve made me happy all over again."

"This has chaos written all over it , I will be seated," another added, as a third tweeted: "I have never been so excited-all that mess + UK accents?? Sign me up."

A fourth person said: "Why do I know this gonna eat up the US version… British people just do reality tv better!! Idk idk."

However, not everyone seemed to be hopeful about the British adaptation, as they claimed the UK dating scene is very different to how things are done in America.

"Don’t they know UK men don’t wife until 2 years of talking," one Twitter user joked as Netflix made their announcement.

Another worried: "I feel like the British aren’t delusional enough."

The show currently have Japanese and Brazilian versions and a Swedish version is also being worked on.
