Loose Women viewers shocked by Stacey Solomon’s response to Joey Essex pie

Loose Women panelist Stacey Solomon seemingly got a shock today when she was accidentally pied by Joey Essex.

The cheeky former TOWIE star slammed a cream pie right in her face while trying to get revenge on her co-star Andrea McLean.

After getting battered with pies on the show exactly a year ago today, Joey decided to give a "sur-pies" to his attacker.

But ‘Father Essexmas’ missed his intended victim and inadvertently hit poor Stacey, who took a "pie bullet" for relieved Andrea.

However, Loose Women viewers called into question her reaction – with some even questioning if she swore.

A few viewers were convinced that Stacey had shouted out the word "b*****d", despite a review of the footage appearing to prove otherwise.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Sorry about saying ‘b*****d’ on #LooseWomen"

"Did she say b*****d?#loosewomen," asked another.

Others slammed the show for ‘fabricating’ the action as Stacey had a towel under the desk.

One angry viewer said: "Such a set up, it’s painful. Stacey knew what was coming!"

"Is this supposed to be funny or entertaining #loosewomen cause youve lost me," added another.

A third said: "Just when I thought the show had already scraped the bottom of the barrel and came out the other end, this happens. R.I.P entertainment."

After the pieing, Andrea said: "You took a bullet for me. Oh my word are you alright?"

Apologetic Joey said: "Sorry, sorry. Stacey you got in the way."

To get her own back, Stacey wiped some of the cream on giggling Joey’s face.
