Kimberley Walsh says Cheryl ‘cried her eyes out’ over claims they had ‘secret WhatsApp group’ to talk about Nadine Coyle

Kimberley Walsh has revealed Cheryl’s upset over claims that the stars of Girls Aloud had a WhatsApp group in which they were voting for Nadine Coyle to do trials on I’m A Celebrity.

The singer, 38, spoke out after it was claimed that she, Cheryl and Nicola Roberts had formed a WhatsApp group in a bid to put Nadine forward for the trials in the jungle.

However, Kimberley has fiercely denied the claims as she spoke out on Monday’s Loose Women, saying Cheryl, 36, “cried her eyes out” over the false allegations.

Kimberley said on the ITV daytime show: “It is the weirdest thing to see somebody you know so well. It is fun though.

“When she jumped out the plane I couldn't believe the reaction I had. I started welling up and was in tears.

“It made me realise how much I do care for her watching her which is nice.”

“Nadine has always been a scaredy cat like when we've been on rides and things.”

When quizzed on the claims, she added: “It is completely untrue. It did surprise me and Cheryl. She text me and said ‘I’m actually crying my eyes out. It's awful.’”

Kimberley was then asked if she, Nicola and Cheryl are “closer” than the rest of the group, to which she responded: “Which is true. There is a genuine real connection with us three that was meant to be.

“With Nadine and Sarah it was a working relationship but we are a family. It made me realise how much I do care for her watching her which is nice.'

“With girls they constantly want to find the negativity. I'm a real girls girl. I don't like it.”

Cheryl also previously slammed the claims that there was a secret feud between the girls, telling MailOnline: “We only want to see Nadine do well, and regardless of any differences we might have had, we will always all have love for each other.

“We did not enjoy watching her distressed when jumping out of the plane. And we don’t have time for group chats regarding the trials on the show!”

Meanwhile Kimberley, added: “I felt really emotional watching Nadine jump out of the plane and texted Cheryl saying how hard it was to watch. I think she’s doing great in there.”

Their bandmate Nicola, 34, also echoed the women's sentiments, insisting she only wants whats best for Nadine.

She said: “We don’t have a group chat about I’m A Celebrity, this just isn’t true. We only wish Nadine the best in the jungle and hope she does well on the show.”
