Katie Price has extreme glam makeover to cheer her up after emergency surgery on her broken feet
KATIE Price underwent an extremely glam makeover tonight as she cheered herself up after her recent emergency surgery.
The 42-year-old's makeup artist Zoe James went all out as she liberally applied metallic pink around Katie's eyes.
Mum-of-five Katie wrote on Instagram: "Loving it that @zoejamesmua is back although I have to rest with my legs up I wanted to feel glam and play with about with make up! More to come with bunny tomorrow! Can’t wait ?."
She posed for selfies from different angles, showing off her plump lips and long lashes.
The new look got an overwhelmingly positive response with many calling it "unreal" and "gorgeous".
It comes after we revealed Katie is "in so much pain she can't eat" and has lost half a stone in five days.
The former glamour model, 42, was forced to endure a six hour operation on Friday after breaking both her feet in an accident in Turkey.
A source told us: "Katie's on all these pain medications but she just can't sleep she's in so much pain.
"She's gone off her food, which is unlike her, and has lost half a stone since the operation.
"She was already tiny, so everyone's trying to tempt her into eating again as she can't lose much more."
A spokesperson for Katie told The Sun Online: "Katie is certainly feeling exhausted after her most recent surgery – not being able to fend for herself and indeed prepare her own meals has had an impact on her weight, Katie has had an awful lot to deal with these past weeks.
"With rehabilitation commencing soon and planned nutritional balanced meals Katie will be back to fighting weight soon.
"Katie is already showing signs of a steady recovery."
Katie was spotted leaving the hospital in tears on Saturday after being discharged following her operation.
Surgeons were forced to slice open her feet to repair the "severe" damage done to them.
She broke the feet jumping from a wall in a theme park while on holiday in Turkey with her boyfriend Carl Woods and kids Junior, 15, and Princess, 13.
The Sun Online was told previously how she won't be able to walk for six months.
The source said: "Doctors are saying she won't be able to walk for six months, or put any weight on her feet.
"She needs major surgery on her feet ASAP as it's worse than anyone realised.
"The recovery could take up to two years. She won't even be walking around until well into 2021. She's really upset and can't believe it's this bad."
But that's not all, Katie revealed doctors gave her a blunt medical warning that these wounds cannot become infected – or she will risk losing her legs.
A source exclusively today told The Sun Online: “Katie's doctors have warned her she must take her recovery seriously and it's left her terrified.
"She's prone to getting infections after operations, and her surgeon says she could lose a leg if her feet get infected.
"She'll have to be so, so careful – she'll have medical professionals on call 24/7 – and change the dressings regularly.
