5 She captioned the image: "Bunny loves Princess' pony Maybe."
However, the picture didn't go down well with Katie's followers, who believed the horse was looking malnourished.
One wrote: "Really does look skinny."
Another said: "Cute, but that pony might need a bit more hard feeding to cover those ribs!"
A third wrote: "'I agree that palomino is way too thin you should not see it ribs needs feeding more to under wait and I do no my horses to iv not seen one like before not good."
Another follower added: "POOR PALAMINO is way TOO THIN can see the mares ribs and yes I KNOW A LOT ABOUT HORSES. Poor HORSE palamino mare or gelding is WAY TOO SKINNY STARVING, SAD and I LOVE katie Price don't know who is caring for this horse but they are NOT doing their JOB."
However, other fans came to her defence.
One wrote: "Starving??? Sorry I can't quite see that strange people."
Another said: "Beautiful picture. Lovely horse!"
A third commented: "I keep looking at the comments then looking at the photo and wondering if the people saying this pony is underweight are looking at the same photo. On a condition score I would say this pony looks pretty spot on.
'If you know a lot about horses then you will understand that when horses get some horse struggle to keep weight regardless of how much you feed it.
"Also being a pony it may be lamentic so needs to be on the thin side. Im sure this horse is being well looked after and since its not yout horse keep your opinions to yourself [sic]".
Sam Chubbock, Head of UK Support at World Horse Welfare commented: "It can be impossible to tell the true condition of a horse from a photo, so we cannot make any comment on whether or not this horse is underweight.
"In general terms, a horse's ribs being faintly visible does not necessarily indicate they are malnourished. The only way to make a true assessment would be to view the horse and assess its body condition score."
Earlier this year, Katie was forced to sell of her farmyard animals in a desperate bid to sort out her finances.
Estranged husband Kieran Hayler was ordered to find them homes.
A source said: “Katie hasn’t had the easiest time of late, and isn’t as flush as she was.
“She told Keiran to get rid of the animals but he’s been struggling to offload the llamas for £2,000 a pop.
“He’s selling her prize horses for £7,000 to an equestrian centre near her West Sussex home.
“And she has been touting the guinea pigs, goats and rabbits to friends and family.
“Pete put his foot down about the cats and hedgehog because they belong to his kids, Princess and Junior.”
