JLo and Ben Affleck are 'fully committed to spending the rest of their lives together' weeks after her split from ARod

JENNIFER Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly "fully committed to spending the rest of their lives together."

The pop star rekindled her relationship with the Academy Award-winner, after breaking off her engagement to Alex Rodriquez in April.

An insider told Us Weekly: “The past few months have been a real whirlwind.

“They’re well aware some cynics still look at it as a big flashy attention grab and roll their eyes at the speed of it all, but it doesn’t faze them one iota.

"They’re fully committed to taking the next steps and spending the rest of their lives together.”

Jennifer and Ben have been an official item since the end of May, but a source told the outlet they don't think “they’re rushing things."

They told the outlet: “It feels like they’ve been together again for years, not months.

“As far as they’re both concerned, they’re just blessed to have found each other and discovered true love, which most people can only ever dream about.”

The source added: “There’s not a single doubt in their mind[s] that this is [not] going to work

“Everything that went wrong in the past can only serve them in a positive way this time around.”

The pair initially broke off their relationship back in 2004, just days before their planned wedding.

JLo and A-Rod were engaged until he was accused of having an affair with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy, which both parties denied.

Jennifer shares 13-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

Ben and his ex-wife, actress Jennifer Garner share children, Violet, 15, and Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, nine.

The source added: “Family and kids are everything to [J. Lo]. She’s more than willing to be patient and do this at a pace that’s comfortable to all parties, there’s no rush.”

JLo, 51, and Ben, 48, were spotted with their arms around one another over the Fourth of July holiday weekend in the Hamptons.

A source previously told OK! magazine that Ben wouldn't "let Jen get away" a second time as he "doesn't want to lose her again."

The insider added: "The new relationship might technically only be a few weeks old, but in reality, they are picking up where they left off. Jen and Ben both know everything about each other — the good, the bad and the ugly. They are not starting at square one.”

Another source close to the duo recently told Closer magazine that Ben is keen to get down on one knee on JLo's 52nd birthday next month.

The insider said: "Ben wants to give long-lasting love another shot and is planning a romantic proposal on the singer's 52nd birthday on 24 July."
