Jimmy Kimmel Obliterates Trump Campaign Ad Demanding a Personal 'Thank You' From Americans

The late-night comedian perfectly parodies a Trump campaign ad that debuted this week.

Donald Trump expects a personal "thank you" from every American and a 2020 campaign donation, but Jimmy Kimmel only offered one of those things on Tuesday night, and it wasn’t flattering.

The ABC late-night host was amused and confused by the president’s new campaign ad that aired Monday night on CNN. No joke, the commercial asked "every Trump supporter to pick up a phone right now and deliver a personal thank you to your president," and even offered a hotline number.

"Hi, my name is Jimmy. I’m in Hollywood, and I just want to say thank you to President Trump for teaching my kids what happens to your brain when you eat too much fried chicken," Kimmel said when he called in.

Of course, Kimmel didn’t call the actual number. Instead he parodied it with his own hotline with a voice saying, "For instructions in English press one now. For instructions in Spanish, go back to wherever the hell you came from."

Another option: "If you’d like to thank him for making it okay to use casual racism on Facebook, press two now."

Kimmel’s presidential hotline also took a shot at the president for all of those sexual harassment and misconduct allegations, plus numerous affairs and Trump’s own admission of grabbing women by the — well, you know the famous line by now. "If you want to thank the president for the two minutes of awkward, sweaty sex you had with him in the ’90s, press three now," the narrator told Kimmel.

It’s pretty clear the only time Kimmel will be sincerely thanking President Trump is when 45 steps aside for 46 to take over.
