Jeremy Kyle Show fans demand axed show is replaced by Supermarket Sweep reboot or a Stephen Mulherne show

JEREMY Kyle fans have called for the axed show to be replaced by Rylan Clark-Neal's reboot of Supermarket Sweet, or The Stephen Mulhern Show.
The ITV morning show was cancelled today by ITV bosses after it emerged a participant on the show had died just says after filming.
But with the axe falling on the show, ITV has a scheduling hole to fill on weekday mornings and fans know exactly what they want.
Stephen Mulhern
Fans think the show is going to return to the channel with a different host and a gentler way of doing this.
They want Stephen Mulhern to host a new version to replace the controversial chat show.
One tweeted: "If it's on ITV it has to be hosted by Stephen Mulhern."
Another added: "Ok @ITV here we start the campaign for this: 9:25 – Weekday mornings Supermarket Sweep with @StephenMulhern #JeremyKyle #jeremykyleshow"
Supermarket Sweet with Rylan
Last year it emerged that Ryan Clark-Neal was involved in discussions about bringing Supermarket Sweep back and Jezza fans think it is the perfect antidote to the axed show.
Instead of watching people bare their souls and air their dirty washing on telly, people want to watch two sisters called Pauline and Sandra going hell for leather round an empty supermarket trying to find a packet of Daz, a tin of beans with a blue label and an inflatable palm tree.
They'll go wild in the aisles for a rebooted version of the Dale Winton classic.
One said: "Can’t they replace Jeremy Kyle with a new revamped version of supermarket sweep. 🙂 #JeremyKyle #SupermarketSweep"
Another added: "The best thing ITV can do with the gap left by Jeremy Kyle is to return to the 90s early morning schedule of Supermarket Sweep, Keynotes and Chain Letters."
Screenwriter Sarah Phelps tweeted: "I'd be f***ing happy to see Supermarket Sweep. Just have Rylan fronting it, Rylan fronting everything to be honest."
Trisha
Before there was Jeremy Kyle, there was Trisha.
Hosted by Trisha Goddard, Trisha had a similar format to The Jeremy Kyle Show but was kinder. In 2004 Trisha decided to leave ITV and take her show to Channel 5 after a dispute over her production company making the show.
However, she was quickly eclipsed in the ratings by Kyle and repeats of her own show that continued to air on ITV.
Now fans think it's the perfect time for her more nuanced, kinder and gentler chat show to make a comeback in the mornings.
One wrote: "Now Jeremy Kyle’s signing on can ITV replace him with the OG queen of daytime Trisha?"
Another added: "They should bring Trisha back lol, she wasn't up herself like Jeremy Kyle was @ITV"
Vanessa Feltz
Before there was Trisha, there was Vanessa – but Vanessa Feltz's morning show was axed after its own scandal.
It emerged that some of Vanessa's guests weren't exactly genuine with fake stories and bizarre claims ending her reign as the Queen of Morning Telly.
But now fans think she could be set for a comeback with one tweeting: "Bring back Vanessa Feltz!"
Extending This Morning
ITV's flagship show airs for two hours from 10.30am, but its counterparts in America air for four or more hours.
With Holly Willoughby and her co-host Phillip Schofield being two of the channel's most popular and bankable stars,m it would make sense for the show to become longer each day.
And fans agree with one writing: "They should extend This Morning to replace it."
