Jeremy Clarkson forced to temporarily close farm shop just weeks after launch

Jeremy Clarkson has been forced to close his ‘non-organic farm shop’ just weeks after its grand opening.

Fans of the 59-year-old have been able to try out producefrom The Grand Tour host’s Diddly Squat Farm, with hundreds heading toOxfordshire to meet Clarkson and sink their teeth into his spuds.

However, this weekend fans will be gutted to hear Clarksonis keeping its doors closed.

When a fan asked if he would be able to visit said farm this weekend for his son’s birthday, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host tweeted: ‘Some teething problems mean it’s shut for the time being.’

Clarkson’s venture on the farm is all part of his new solo Amazon Prime Video series I Bought The Farm, though it remains unclear is said ‘teething problems’ have affected filming.

We do know, however, The Grand Tour production has been halted over coronavirus, which is unsurprising considering its dependency on travel. Well, when say dependency, it’s essentially a travel show.

The next instalment will follow the boys in Madagascar,where they found themselves stranded 500 miles from their entire crew.

Richard Hammond promised us a disaster, and we got one. Although, no one could have predicted coronavirus would delay the further specials expected to follow.

‘We have one pretty much ready to go and when this virusbusiness is settled, we will head off to do two more,’ Clarkson told fans thisweek, who are getting more and more impatient each day.

However, Jezza has assured the next episode of The Grand Tour would be ‘coming soon’ and James May promised it will be ‘fantastic’.

The Grand Tour is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
