Actors Jennifer Anniston and Adam Sandler joined This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield via video link to discuss the release of their new film, Murder Mystery 2. Throughout the conversation, ITV viewers took to social media to slam the “awkward” interaction as the A-listers appeared “drunk,” and soon after Friends star Jennifer let slip a swear word.
The actors were promoting their new film, but the pair kept talking over each other and not giving much response to Holly and Phil.
This caused a Twitter backlash as fans cringed over the interview, but things soon became a bit more awkward.
Talking about the sets used, Adam explained: “There’s some creation…”
“Some of it’s created, some actually is real,” Jennifer added.
“There’s a lot of Eiffel Tower – some real, some created,” Adam repeated.
He continued: “But Jennifer… she was scared to fall off the Eiffel Tower.
“They called ‘action’, but she didn’t jump and I just snuck up and pushed her.”
As the duo laughed, Adam commented: “And it was just fun to see that reaction.”
“Well I can imagine, someone pretending to push you off the Eiffel Tower, what fun!” Phillip joked.
“Yeah just for s***s and giggles,” Jennifer replied before realising her mistake and throwing a hand to her mouth.
Holly and Phillip chuckled as the former apologised to viewers.
“Sorry about that… sorry about that,” she remarked before Jennifer added: “I’m sure you can bleep that.”

“No, it’s live…” Phillip explained, adding: “Don’t worry, we love it, we love it – it’s fine.”
Holly tried to move the chat forward by starting a new question but the moment seemed to distract the actors.
“You have to spend an awfully long time-” Holly began before Adam cut in.
“At least you said giggles… it was happy just after,” he stated. “Sorry, everybody.”
