FIRED Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is desperate to file for divorce from her estranged husband David Eason despite their reunion earlier this week.
The Sun can exclusively reveal Jenelle, 28, only reunited with David, 31, in Tennessee so he could see their daughter Ensley, 2, for the first time in three months.
The exes were photographed walking through Nashville with Ensley after Jenelle dropped her restraining order against David.
A source close to the ex MTV star told The Sun: “Jenelle and David are co-parenting. Everyone is saying they are back together, they are not.”
The insider continued: “They met so he could see Ensley. He hasn’t seen Ensley since October.”
The Davidson County Court clerk in Nashville confirmed to The Sun that Jenelle has yet to file for divorce from David despite announcing their split in October.
The source explained: “You can’t just go to a courthouse and file. There is a period of time you have to wait before you can file for divorce.
“I don’t think there are any intentions for them to get back together."
The insider insisted Jenelle is “doing great” in her new life without David.
As for a custody plan for the 2-year-old, the source said it is “too soon” to make any permanent arrangements.
Jenelle announced her split from David after over two years of marriage in October 2019.
She moved from North Carolina to Tennessee with their daughter and her son Kaiser, 5, from a previous relationship with ex Nathan Griffith.
The JE Cosmetics owner then filed a restraining order request against him.
She claimed he was “abusive” and “violent” throughout their marriage by detailing 11 alleged incidents of abuse.
She wrote in the order that she was “scared” for her life and for the “well-being” of her children.
Jenelle, who is also mom to son Jace, 10, from a previous relationship with Andrew Lewis, filed to drop the restraining order days before their court hearing.
While Jenelle and David fought frequently throughout their marriage, their relationship started to fall apart when David admitted to shooting and killing their family dog for nipping at their daughter in April 2019.
In May 2019, Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2.
Child Protective Services also removed their children from their care that same month.
The children were returned in July 2019 after a series of court hearings.
The Sun previously reported that the reunion left family and friends “shocked and horrified.”
The source said: “Her family and friends had no idea. No one knows what is going on with them.”
