ITV viewers ‘switch off’ minutes into Soccer Aid after blunder

Soccer Aid hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alex Scott were pitch side to give a rundown of the event before, during and after the match.
However, minutes into the live broadcast of the football game viewers claimed they switched off after noticing an “annoying” noise in the background.
As the pair attempted to give a rundown of who was playing in which team, the sound of air horns could be heard throughout the stadium.
The collection of horns became so loud that viewers took to their Twitter accounts to fume they were unable to hear the presenters and switched off.
@Imbored53828731 exclaimed: “SHUT UP WITH UR BLOODY HORNS!! #SoccerAid.”
@Missfootyfan noted: “Turned Soccer Aid on and heard those b*****d horns. Off it goes.”
@MHiills asked: “Love to know whose idea it was to sell horns…”
Julie Eckersley penned: “Just put the tv on, can’t watch the match. It’s those awful horns, terrible noise just spoils it.”
@scottamy95 said: “I am so glad I haven’t watched the whole of a soccer aid, them horns have me ears ringing.” (sic)

The event took place in Manchester’s Old Trafford stadium and saw the England vs World XI teams go head to head.
I’m A Celeb star and Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott became the first female captain of the England XI, while Usain Bolt once again led World XI.
After a tense match, it was World XI who took home the trophy after scoring five goals and left Usain Bolt to lift the trophy as Nessun Dorma played out of the Old Trafford PA system.
Singer Tom Grennan was awarded Man of the Match for the second year running, however, former Love Island star Kem Cetinay impressed with his scoring ability.

Speaking to Usain after the match, he explained: “It was good, I enjoyed it, I always enjoy playing! Too bad I got an injury but it was fun. I scored a goal at Old Trafford!”
Kem added: “Honestly the goals were amazing but just to share a pitch with these guys, these legends, honestly, people don’t understand.
“It is like, it is a dream come true, I still can’t believe it, just the best day.”
