ITV Emmerdale Tom fate ‘sealed’ as fans ‘work out’ exit twist after Belle abuse
Emmerdale fans are convinced Tom King (James Chase) will be the next person to leave the village in a. body bag.
Fans of the ITV1 soap were left gobsmacked during Monday's (October 30) episode after Tom lashed out at Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) when she turned down his marriage proposal. The shocking incident came to light as Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) confronted her relatives in The Woolpack after her rapist Craig Reed (Ben Addis) was found dead.
Lydia first to turned her attention to Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), convinced he is responsible for beating Craig to death, but he denied any involvement and she later asked Belle if she did anything to Craig as he previously threatened Belle with legal action when she branded him a rapist.

Belle explained her alibi, and in a flashback and. viewers watched Tom get down on one knee to ask her to be his wife. Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) was instantly excited for her, but it dawned on them that she hadn’t accepted, as she wasn’t wearing the ring.
A further flashback saw a surprised Belle explain to Tom that she wasn’t ready to take this step, as they had just moved in together. However, he took it extremely badly, ranting at her and declaring that he mustn’t love her. As she tried to calm him down, he angrily pushed her, causing her to fall and bash her head on the table.
Belle was left shaken and Tom started bombing her with apologies, telling her he would never mean to hurt her and adding that he imagines she is relieved she didn’t say yes now. She was clearly wary, but forgave him for what had happened, telling her family that he had taken it will and concealing that he had attacked her.

Seen as very much a loving couple by the rest of her relatives, Belle hides the secret of what happened but how long until it happens again and how much danger is Belle in from Tom?
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, One fan penned: "So basically we’re gonna have the same whodunnit this time next year when one of Dingles kills Tom for abusing Belle then?" Another added: "Tom gonna be the next one dead?" A third person wrote: "Tom needs to be very careful if Cain or Aaron hear what you’ve done to Belle you will end up like Craig."
Fans will have to wait and see and see what happens when the truth about Tom's dark side is finally exposed.
