I’m A Celebrity’s Nella sparks second row as she clashes with Nigel Farage

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! starNella Rose had a heated exchange with Nigel Farage on tonight’s episode (Wednesday 22 November) of the ITV show.

As the pair discussed Nigel’s views on politics, the pair failed to see eye-to-eye – just days afterFirst Dates star Fred Sirieix confronted the former UKIP politician about his stance on Brexit.

Nella, 26, confronted Nigel about his view on immigration as the pair spoke by the bath, with the YouTuber telling Nigel: “Let’s get everything out in the open. All the tea is coming out now… apparently you’re anti-immigrants?”

In response, 59 year old Nigel asked Nella who’d told her that, with her stating that she’d got the information from the internet.

“Oh, well there we are then it must be true,” Nigel quipped, to which Nella replied: “It must be! OK, but then why don’t black people like you?”

Nigel added that they did like him, and said: “If you came with me through South London, you’d be astonished.”

Nella, who recently had a disagreement with Fred Sirieix, then asked: “So everyone hates you for no reason? Not that everyone hates you, that was so bad. Sorry."

Following the social media star’s remark, Nigel said it was “grossly unfair” of her to “chuck around accusations”, before attempting to clarify his stance on the matter.

“You can disagree with somebody, but to chuck around accusations the way they’ve been chucked around is grossly unfair,” he said.

“Anti-immigrant, right? No, no, all I’ve said is we cannot go on with the numbers coming to Britain that are coming.”

As he discussed his views, Nella added: “Those immigrants that are coming in, I came in.”

After some back and forth between the pair, who were both ruled out of today’s Bushtucker trial, Nella simply asked: “What is so wrong about immigrants?”

In response, Nigel said: “Listen. Since 2000, the British population has increased by 10 million. 10 million.”

However, when Nella stated that immigration was a good thing, Nigel responded: “Good thing, unless you want a GP appointment…”

Nella then asked: “I’m stopping you getting a GP appointment? You’re not getting an appointment because the NHS is lacking funding.

“I bet you anything if every single immigrant or from immigrant descent was to leave the UK, all your doctors, go… most of your doctors are Asian right? Most of your nurses are African women, right?

“You want us gone, that’s all I understood.”

However, Nigel claimed that Nella wasn’t “listening to a single word” he was saying. In turn, Nella said that it was “ok for us to disagree on this” and the pair parted ways.

As he went to the Bush Telegraph to discuss the events, Nigel said: “What was interesting was at the end of it she said, ‘Well, OK, we’re going to agree to disagree.’ And that’s the important thing, agreeing to disagree. ”

Meanwhile, Nella told Nigel that she did “really like” the politician but wanted to know why “everyone hated” him.

“My main point was that we’ve got into this jungle and I really like you and I want to know why everyone hated you,” she added.

“We don’t have to come to a common ground. You probably like a lot of things that I don’t like. And I probably like a lot of things that you don’t like…we can have these conversations.”
