Holly Willoughby offered pawnbroker Dan Hatfield some valuable advice about marriage which he followed during his wedding to Joff Hatfield-Powell.
Dan was on Monday’s This Morning to tell viewers if they had “trash or treasure” hidden away in their homes, but Holly couldn’t resist talking about his wedding.
The money-saving expert told Holly: “You were so great with me on the run-up to the wedding.
“You gave me some really great advice, not to worry if I cry or not and I blubbed like a baby.”
The mum-of-three smiled and said: “You have to, just let it out!”
However, her co-host Craig Doyle quipped: “It prepares you for the tears that marriage will bring you.”
Dan shared his romantic news on social media with a smart picture of him and Joff in their suits.
He said: “Being married means I can use excuses like, ‘My husband deals with that type of thing’ and, ‘See my husband about that.’ My personal favourite though is, ‘My husband will pay you.’
“On a serious note over a week in and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been! Thank you for making my dreams come true.”

“I knew I’d be with him for the rest of my life if he’d have me, but nothing can ever prepare you for what it’s like when someone asks you.”
