Holby City viewers in shock as Ange Goddard makes explosive rape confession
Holby City viewers were left in shock after Tuesday night’s heartbreaking episode.
Ange Goddard’s storyline took a shocking twist when she revealed that she was once raped.
In a heart-to-heart with her son, Dom, Ange admitted that her daughter, Chloe, was the product of a sexual assault.
An emotional Ange told her son: “You started from a place of love, Dominic.
“And Chloe? I was raped.”
Viewers rushed to social media to share their heartbreak over the shocking twist.
“Seeing Ange crying like that after telling Dom she was raped,” said one viewer.
A second viewer tweeted: “Ange telling Dom about being raped. That is just, have no words! Poor Ange!”

Dom recently discovered that his real mum, Ange, had put him up for adoption when he was just six months old.
His adoptive mum, Carol, dropped the bombshell a few weeks ago, and since then the pair have been trying to build a relationship.
The storyline initially caused controversy when Dom refused to speak to his adoptive mum following the revelation, and some fans complained the plot was following a stereotypical “evil adopter” trope.
