Former This Morning guest hits out at Holly and Phil’s ‘air of importance’ and backs claims of a ‘toxic environment’ | The Sun

A MODEL who appeared on This Morning has backed claims there is a “toxic environment” on the show.

Stunning Harpreet Bedi-Joseph, who took part in a fashion segment on the ITV show, has vowed to "never go back" because of Holly and Phil’s "air of importance".

She told TalkTV: “I felt welcomed with people from behind the scenes. I didn't feel welcome with Phil and Holly.

"They had an air of importance and they wouldn't approach you. You weren’t comfortable around them, but everyone else behind the scenes were very nice.”

Host Rosie Wright, who was standing in for Vanessa Feltz, asked: "Harpreet if you were called this week to say ‘we're doing a fashion item if you're around', would you be reluctant to accept?"

She insisted: "I would never go back. Never."

Asked why, Harpreet continued: "I didn't like the atmosphere that was on the show behind the scenes. Eamonn and Ruth were lovely. They were very approachable, but Phil and Holly, it wasn't really nice at all."

Keen to delve deeper into recent claim, Kevin O'Sullivan asked her: "So you would confirm what Dr Ranj has been saying, he was there for ten years, toxic, Phillip Schofield said this morning there was no toxicity but it seems to me Harpreet from what you’re saying Dr Ranj was exactly right, you experienced it yourself, there was a toxic atmosphere at This Morning?”

She said: "Yes there was and they would ignore you when you were rehearsing, they wouldn't talk to you. They had an air of importance, they would just ignore you but they'd be fake for the cameras. It was very shocking to see how they would behave."

The comments come after Dr Ranj claimed there is a "toxic" culture of bullying on This Morning.
