Emmerdale's Charley Webb admits she's missing her old hair amid new look

Former Emmerdale star Charley Webb admitted she sometimes regretted chopping off her long locks and ponder the thought of growing it back again.

The 35-year-old actress took to her Instagram stories earlier this week and chatted about her hair with her nearly 600 thousand followers.

She debuted her shorter style before immediately sharing that she was considering sticking to a longer look as soon as it grew out again.

Filming herself for her online fans, the star swished her new bouncy blow-dry about as she showed off the cut that came just above her shoulders.

Charley explained that she had paid a visit to the hairdressers and that now, her ‘Hairs gone’, to the tune of Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair as it played out in the background.

Opting for a change from her signature hair that used to reach her chest, the actress added a question to her latest post that proved she was in two minds over the transformation.

She said: ‘Now I’m thinking, do I grow it back long?,’ as she played with the mess of balayage blonde and brown tresses.

Charley rose to fame playing Debbie Dingle on Emmerdale until she parted ways with the ITV soap in 2019.

Following her departure from the show, she opened up about her decision to leave during a Q&A session on her Instagram account in January of last year.

She explained: ‘This is always my most asked question but I’ve never answered it before because I’ve never wanted to make a big deal of it.

‘I left to have Ace 2 years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline.

‘So, I guess officially it’s been a year. I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn’t.’

The actress shares three children with her husband and ex-Emmerdale co-star, Matthew Wolfenden, 43.

They welcomed Buster in 2010, followed by Bowie in 2015 and Ace in 2019.

Since leaving the Yorkshire Dales, Charley starred as Elise in the BBC drama Better that centred around the Yorkshire Ripper and filmed in Leeds.
