Emmerdale: Caleb tells Leyla he has children

In recent scenes in Emmerdale, it was revealed Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) was the son of Frant Tate (Norman Bowler) and the father of Home Farm’s nanny Nicky (Lewis Cope). The pair had come up with a plan to get close to Kim Tate (Claire King) and Gabby Thomas (Gabby Bentham) in a bid to take back Home Farm.

However, during Thursday night’s hour-long episode, Caleb let another secret slip when chatting with his new love interest, Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).

Leyla questioned the businessman when he asked her to keep their romance to themselves.

This is when Caleb admitted he had children and didn’t want them to find out.

Viewers recently discovered Nicky was his son, but who could the other child be and are they already in the village?

When chatting about Suzy (Martelle Edinborough) “blabbing” about their relationship, Leyla asked: “What do you mean?”

“I just don’t like people knowing my business,” Caleb hit back.

Leyla went on to ask: “Just to be clear are we seeing each other? Or are we not seeing each other?”

As Caleb confirmed they were seeing each other, Leyla continued: “Right then why all this secrecy?”

“It’s nothing to do with you, it’s just it’s complicated,” Caleb explained.

“There are other people I need to consider and I’d rather not go into it.”

“What is it you’re hiding?” Leyla raged as Caleb argued: “Nothing.”

As Leyla asked why they can’t be seen in public together, he replied: “I don’t want this getting back to my kids.

“We’ve got a bit of a tricky relationship at the minute because of their mum.

“I am separated, look right, I don’t mess women around, if I did we wouldn’t be having this conversation.”

Following the episode, fans took to Twitter in droves to share their thoughts about Caleb’s secret.

One eagle-eyed fan suggested Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) could be his secret daughter.

@tamlizann25 questioned: “How many kids has Caleb? #Emmerdale.”

@LoveReality said: “TV4 CALEB SAID KIDS NICKY ISNT HIS ONLY CHILD WHATTT #Emmerdale.”

While @Wee_Westie29 shared the theory: “Do any of you think Caleb and Kerry had a relationship and Amy and Nicky are twins and Nicky’s “mum” is actually his stepmum?”

After being quizzed by other fans on their theory, @Wee_Westie29 explained further: “True, Amy’s and Chloe’s dad is supposed to be called “Tony” unless Caleb gave himself a false identity rather than give his real name and is the father to all three of Kerry’s kids through bigamy? #Emmerdale.” (sic)
