Emmerdale fans outraged at shocking price of a sandwich in the cafe | The Sun

EMMERDALE fans have been left outraged at the shocking price of a sandwich in the cafe.

Wednesday's episode of the ITV drama featured a scene in the local eatery.

Nicola King was seen talking to Marlon Dingle, where she told him: "Next time you see Paddy, tell him he owes me £2.70.

"He came in this morning for a coffee and left without paying."

Marlon continued to chat to Liam Cavanagh, while Nicola busied herself elsewhere in the cafe before calling over: "Actually, £8.70, I forgot he had a butty as well."

Emmerdale viewers were staggered to realise a sandwich had cost £6, and the hot drink £2.70.

Earlier this week, The Sun exclusively revealed a soap baddie was returning after 10 years.

Killer Carl King’s son Thomas makes a shocking comeback next month, a decade since he terrorised the locals following his murderous dad’s death.

A source revealed: “Tom’s return is going to be explosive. He shocks his uncle Jimmy when he returns to the village and it’s not clear why he’s back.

“Fans will be glued to their screens watching Tom’s comeback unfold — and his presence could cause chaos.

“They will all be asking if he’s as evil as his dad Carl and wondering why he’s returned.”

Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
