EastEnders’ Theo star William Ellis’ life off screen and where fans recognise him from
EastEnders star William Ellis who plays the role of "creepy" headteacher Theo Hawthorne has starred in a number of other TV gigs fans may recognise.
William, 42 made his EastEnders debut in April this year joining the storyline with Freddie Slater and was quickly wrapped up with the whole family, recently convincing Stacey Slater to kick out troubled Eve Unwin.
But away from his "evil" antics on Albert Square, the soap star is miles away from his on screen persona and has appeared in a number of other recognisable titles, including a rival soap.
The soap star is a British actor who trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
While William keeps his family life pretty private without a trace on Instagram, it is known that he is married to Alice Hobden and reportedly has one child.
In 2018, William starred as Hartley Beddington in the daytime medical drama Doctors.
A year later in 2019, he also appeared in the award-winning Netflix drama The Crown where he played the Queen's flight captain and famously shot an aeroplane scene with Tobias Menzies who starred as Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Away from TV, William who hails from London is also a successful voice artist and podcaster.
He is known for his roles in Great Expectations, Dragon Quest Swords, Queen of the Desert, Parade’s End and The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler.
EastEnders viewers have been left terrified for Stacey Slater as Theo Hawthorne has been secretly stalking and terrorising her for months.
Recently the "creepy" stalker has been trying to get rid of her friend and protector Eve Unwin.
Fans watched on in shock as Theo convinced Stacey to kick troubled Eve out of her house after she lashed out following the arrival of the woman who killed her twin sister.
Breaking the news to Eve in saddening scenes, Stacey told her: "Eve I love you but what did I say to you this morning? I’m your family and I know you better than anyone, why would you chuck that away?
"We cannot be living with some liability that flips out like that. I’m saying I don’t know if you can live here in this state while Lily is about to bring the most precious thing in this world."
Eve left devastated and sarcastically told Stacey: "Thanks. Family."
As the storyline continues fans remain concerned for Stacey as Theo tightens his grip on her.
