EastEnders heartbreak as Zack Hudson makes huge decision about his future
EastEnders: Zack smashes a glass
Zack Hudson (played by James Farrar) is set to come to a firm decision in upcoming EastEnders episodes which could see the end of his relationship with Whitney (Shona McGarty).
Soap favourite Zack has had a tough year, facing his HIV diagnosis and losing his and Whitney’s baby, Peach.
However, official spoilers for the BBC soap reveal Zack will begin to feel ready to become a father once again but does Whitney feel the same?
On Peach’s due date, Zack gets good news – his viral load is now undetectable.
As he and Whitney spend time at their daughter’s tree, Zack suggests they could try for another baby.

Whitney breaks his heart when she later reveals she can never put her body through that again and doesn’t want to try for another baby.
The two have a difficult conversation about their future and children.
Later, Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) advises a devastated Whitney to keep talking to Zack so they don’t lose each other.
But when she speaks to him, it’s clear Zack thinks they are too far apart on this issue.

Zack’s sister Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) later finds Whitney in tears and confronts him.
Will she convince him to stay with Whitney despite the fact they want different things?
Whitney has faced a lot of trauma, having now lost two babies, so it’s understandable she doesn’t want to try to become a mother again.
The pair might be able to reach a compromise by adopting a child, but if they can’t come to a decision on what to do, it could be the end of their relationship.

It could be that the break up is what leads to Whitney’s upcoming exit, which has been confirmed by the BBC.
Shona, 31, has played Whitney since she was 16 but has now made the “difficult” decision to leave.
Shona told The Sun on Sunday: “I have decided to spread my wings and will be leaving EastEnders. I have loved my years in the show.”
With her departure likely to come early next year, will she head off with Zack in tow, or will the exit come as the result of Whitney facing yet another heartbreak?
