Danny Dyer vows someone is ‘going to get it’ in EastEnders Christmas episodes

Danny Dyer hinted there could be a murder in Albert Square in the upcoming EastEnders Christmas specials.

The actor’s character Mick Carter is due to be released from prison in time for the festive season after being framed for attempted murder of his childhood friend-turned-foe Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ).

After enduring a tough time behind bars and the fact he shouldn’t have even been there in the first place means Mick is out for revenge when he finally tastes freedom.

Appearing on Saturday’s Jonathan Ross Show, the actor teased things could take a bloody turn over Christmas.

He explained: "He is out and he is on the rampage. He’s got the right hump, Jon.

"He has been set up and not only that, (Stuart) has been sniffing around my old woman in it and wearing my clothes behind the bar, so I want some answers mate. It has wound me up a bit.

"It’s Christmas in Walford, someone is going over mate!

"It is a great gig, I do love it there. It’s great running The Vic, I love the people there. I am very grateful for it."

Mick, Stuart and his wife Linda (Kellie Bright) are due to have one of the explosive storylines this Christmas.

Producers said "at least one" Walford resident will be left with "blood on their hands" this Christmas.

Other festive plotlines included Mel Owen’s (Tamzin Outhwaite) wedding to Ray Kelly (Sean Mahon) and Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) finding out her husband Alfie (Shane Ritchie) is the father of her cousin Hayley Slater’s (Kate Jarvis) baby Cherry.

Danny is on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday 15 December at 10.05pm on ITV.
