Dancing On Ice's Vanessa Bauer reignites feud with 'jealous and insecure' Megan Barton Hanson
The Dancing On Ice pro skater shared a clip from her new vlog featuring Wes Nelson online and received a flurry of comments both supporting her and slating her for posting about Wes amid the drama surrounding their relationship.
One person hit back at the criticism of her and questioned why she should stop sharing videos because Megan is “jealous and insecure” – and said Meg should have asked for a male skating partner for Wes if she was so worried.
Alongside a laughing face emoji, Vanessa replied to her: “Yes. Thanks.”
The comment supporting her read: “You know it’s a competition right?. You know that everybody taking part in this competition is posting their training sessions online right?.
“Why would @vanessabauer_skates stop posting her training sessions because Megan is jealous and insecure? Very childish mentality! If Meg doesn’t want her man training with another woman, she should have insisted on him having a male skating partner!”
The feud between the women started last week after Wes’ first solo dance with Vanessa on Dancing On Ice.
Megan publicly blasted Vanessa for not introducing herself to her, "tactically breaking-up" with her boyfriend and not inviting her to watch them train.
Ranting on Instagram stories, Megan said: "@Vanessabauer_skates love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your 1st performance with my boyfriend!
"You've never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night, you didn't even look me in the eye LOL.
"Hope the tactical breakup got you the headlines you wanted babe. @wesnelson."
She later admitted she was feeling “jealous and selfish” and is sick of Wes being “too tired” for her.
Yesterday Wes – who has been caught up in the drama – revealed that they had made up but Megan wouldn’t be saying sorry.
He said: "It's a lot of pressure for Megs. It's concluded. They've spoken to each other. They're happy.
"I don't even know what they spoke about, I just let women get on with their women talk.
"Meg has suffered a lot. She has come to support me, cheer me on, and then got absolutely nailed for doing it.
"She has said 'I wish I had privately messaged her. She's not apologising for it. It's how she feels. I'm not going to argue with it. I'm going to back my girlfriend.”
