Dancing On Ice’s H shares ‘happiness’ after landing same-sex partner
Dancing On Ice star Ian 'H' Watkins has shared his "happiness" after news broke that he's getting a same-sex partner for the new series.
The former Steps star, who is openly gay, will reportedly be paired with Matt Evers , the skater who previously danced with Gemma Colllins.
He has been hard at work training, and today he returned to social media to share a selfie with show judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
In a banner across the snap, he wrote: "Happiness".
H also shared a video of himself on the ice laughing as he fluffed his moves.
In a post on Instagram , he wrote: "I mean… @dancingonice training is getting ridiculously funny!!!"
H is said to had asked Dancing On Ice producers whether he could be paired with a male skater and the team were "fully supportive" of it.
A Dancing On Ice source told The Sun : “After conversations with the Dancing on Ice production team, H enquired as to the possibility of being paired with a male pro skater.
“Bosses at Dancing on Ice are fully supportive of a same-sex partnership, so this year H will be paired with Matt.
