Coronation Street viewers are in for a tense time as the notorious Henry Newton returns to the cobbles.
Newton, who is played by George Banks on the ITV soap, is set to stick around for a while as he gets roped in with a storyline surrounding the Rovers Return.
Financial issues have left current landlady Jenny Connor struggling to pay the bills, with the potential for the pub to shut its doors.

Seeking new buyers for the pub, Jenny meets Henry and dad Phillip, but tension is set to build between the new owners.
But it is not just Jenny that is in for a shock with Henry, as Chesney Brown acts to keep his wife Gemma Winter from Henry's clutches.
Henry already got himself in trouble in his first stint on the Street back in 2017, having a fling with now-personal assistant Gemma.
Believing her to be called Jemima, Henry locked eyes on Gemma at a house party, before tracking her down to the cobbles.
Gemma ended up being asked out by Henry, who secretly had his own history in Weatherfield.
Henry is the grandson of Corrie's ex-brewery owner Cecil Newton, who – with son Phillip – appeared on the ITV soap between 1987 and 2003.
It means Henry is the heir to a brewery fortune as Cecil (George Banks) was Netwon & Ridley's former director.
Cecil had been due to marry iconic barmaid Bet Lynch on the soap, but suddenly passed away – leaving the wedding in disarray.
Phillip surfaced on several occasions during a number of different plot points over the years.
And it seems his return to the show is set to be ominous as Jenny offers him a chance to buy the pub, following in his father's footsteps.
Phillip and Henry's return will trigger nostalgia for long time fans, who have been involved with the family since the 1980s and will definitely remember the new pair's older relatives.
Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
