Corrie fans horrified as Sally Metcalfe is brutally beaten up by cellmate

Coronation Street fans were left horrified tonight as Sally Metcalfe was brutally beaten up by cellmate Marcia tonight.

The former Weatherfield mayor could be heard screaming in her cell, prompting a prison guard to run to her aid.

This evening, Marcia was left furious after their cell was scoured through by prison guards.

After accusing Sally of tipping them off about the drug dealing, Marcia violently attacked Sally.

And shocked viewers flocked to Twitter as they worried over Sally.
