Coronation Street fans rip into ITV announcer's warning before 'difficult' episode – raging 'what happened?!' | The Sun
CORONATION Street left some viewers in a tizz when a new announcement aired ahead of last night's episode.
Viewers who sat down to catch all the latest happenings on the cobbles of Weatherfield yesterday braced themselves as an announcement told them "difficult conversations" featured heavily in the episode.
Just seconds before the episode aired, a Coronation Street voiceover said: "Now, with strong emotions and difficult conversations with scenes some viewers may find upsetting, it's Coronation Street."
One disgruntled viewer tweeted: "There's too many warnings nowadays. What happened to the good old days, they've even reclassified water ship down I heard yesterday #Corrie."
Another said: "#corrie More upsetting scenes and conversations. Do we watch this for fun? We used to."
One viewer buckled in: "Hold on tight for difficult conversations #Corrie."

The scenes in question saw Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) talking to MND support group member Shelly, who bowled him over with her positive attitude and zest for like.
She urged him to take control of his life and to follow his dreams.
Paul propositioned his partner Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brockebank), stating Shelly helped him to see clearly and that he wanted to ask him something.

Instead, Paul asked a hard-hitting question and asked Billy if he'd help him end his life when it was time.
