CLARE Balding left fans 'sobbing' with a new live show hunting for lost dogs.
The 52-year-old presenter fronted a new show on Channel 5 on Tuesday night, Live: Lost Dogs with Clare Balding.
In a live television first, Clare called upon the British public to help reunite lost dogs with their owners.
Some pooches have been separated from their human families for days, weeks, months and in some cases years.
The first show featured a family from the Isle of Wight who had spent six years searching for their stolen spaniel, Fern.
Clare's show also featured a segment on some of the stray dogs that have been handed in to rescue centres across the UK.
