Channel 4's huge TV show culling continues as hit spin-off series is axed after seven seasons | The Sun

CHANNEL 4's huge TV show culling has continued as yet another hit spin-off series has been axed.

The cash-strapped broadcaster has decommissioned a number of high profile shows recently.

SAS: Who Dares Wins and Danny Dyer's Scared of the Dark are just two shows that have been ditched.

And the culling continues as Channel 4 have decided to rest Grand Designs' spin-off series.

House of the Year will not be returning after seven years on screens.

The show was produced in partnership with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) who decided the overall winner.

It said: "The series has gone from strength to strength over seven seasons with strong viewing figures and audience engagement in 2022."

When contacted by The Sun Online, a spokesperson for Channel 4 said: "We communicated the decision not to recommission House Of The Year for 2023 in January.
