Carol Vorderman wishes her lookalike daughter a happy 29th birthday with mirror image snaps
CAROL Vorderman paid a touching tribute to her daughter Katie on her 29th birthday.
The 60-year-old wished her research scientist daughter a happy birthday on her social media accounts alongside a series of photos of the pair, which showed Katie as the spitting image of her famous mum.
Carol shared a mirror image of her and Katie at the same age, with many of her fans struggling to tell them apart.
She also posted a photo of Katie's hospital tag from when she was born, interviewing an astronaut and flying a plane with her mum.
"Happy Birthday to my kind, hilarious, hard working, loving, talented, geek girl Katie @katie.science…..❤️❤️," Carol wrote on Instagram.
"Katie was 2 months premature (worrying times).
"Now she's a Research scientist @cambridgeuniversity #NASA#SpaceFreak#Pilot#singer#WannabeAstronaut 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻.

Carol added: "It's not often I ever talk about my children….I kept their lives very private as kids but now they're grown up…well I'm allowed to say how proud I am of them both….
"Happy Birthday Katie King ….soooooooo many adventures to come…..bring it on."
The proud mum also posted a tribute to Katie on her Twitter and included a photo with her brother, Cameron.
"Happy Birthday @KKing_5….from me and your brother….. No shaking us off," she wrote on Twitter alongside a series of love heart and laughing face emojis.
Carol's messages for Katie came after she recently showed off her assets in a black one-piece swimsuit while posing for a snap on her travels before the coronavirus pandemic hit.
Carol looked amazing in some aviator sunglasses and her blonde locks styled into some loose beach waves.
Just last month she sent temperatures soaring in a neon orange lace-up swimsuit.
The mum-of-two put on a racy display as she soaked up the sunshine in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
The TV star showed off her incredible figure as she enjoyed the glorious weather in a bright orange criss-cross one-piece, which perfectly showed off her slim figure.
The telly star is far from shy about sharing pictures of her incredible figure on social media.
Last month she proudly showed off her roots in Welsh dragon bikini for a sexy selfie.
