Carol Kirkwood pulled to the floor by Wimbledon search dog live on air
BBC Breakfast: Charlie introduces weather ‘again’ after mistake
Carol Kirkwood was dragged down by Wimbledon’s search dog on Monday morning after updating viewers of the weather in the coming days.
As BBC Breakfast presenters Jon Kay and Sally Nugent crossed over to Carol, she was joined by security dog Ray who was receiving a lot of love from the weatherwoman.
Excitedly, she explained: “Isn’t he the most gorgeous boy! This is Ray, he is going to be five in August and he is one of the search dogs here.
“Whilst we have been waiting for you to come to us, he has been sat there like a gentleman just looking ahead at his trainer and just being perfect.
“I don’t even know what the weather is today I am so distracted!”
As Carol gave the weather forecast, Ray made himself comfortable and laid on his back, leaving Carol impressed with his behaviour.
“I must say, I am just going to stay here for a while with Ray! How well-behaved is he? He has hardly moved apart from having his tummy rubbed.”
Sally added: “I was just saying, Ray reacting the way most people would when meeting Carol Kirkwood,” which left Carol to giggle and thank her co-stars.
As Carol handed back over to the studio, she explained: “I am very happy, he is just perfect,” before Ray decided his time was up and walked over to his trainer.
