Amanda Holden 'despises Phillip Schofield' as shocking new details of their feud emerge | The Sun
NEW details of Amanda Holden's feud with Phillip Schofield have emerged after she was accused of mocking Holly Willoughby.
Yesterday Amanda, 52, appeared to take a swipe at 42-year-old Holly's This Morning speech addressing the controversy surrounding Phil, 61.
Now insiders have insisted the Britain's Got Talent judge has no issue with Holly – but the same definitely can't be said of her opinion of ex-TV presenter Phil.
After the response to Amanda's video shared on Instagram, a rep told MailOnline: "Amanda has always made it clear in the past she has no issues with Holly. Today’s video has been taken out of context."
However a telly insider added: "Amanda has long despised Phillip. She was due to step in for Holly while she was hosting I’m A Celeb in 2018 but he blocked it."
A source at the time told The Sun: "Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle Humes to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced – and having been told privately she'd got the gig.

"She feels Phil unfairly used his powers of persuasion. She was told he'd chosen Rochelle because she was easier to 'manage' on air – and understandably that incensed her."
Since then Amanda has made it clear there's no love lost between her and Phillip.
A year after she was "snubbed" by This Morning she listed "spiders, flies and Phillip Schofield" among the things she wouldn't like to find in her home.
As Holly returned to the ITV show on Monday she kicked things off by addressing the elephant in the room, following Phil's shock departure from the show.
