This Morning 's Alison Hammond was forced to interrupt Carol Vorderman after she went on a rant about her ex-pal.
The Countdown star, 61, appeared on Friday's instalment of the daytime show alongside Giles Brandreth, joining Alison, 47, and her regular co-host Dermot O'Leary as they delved into the top headlines of the day.
Their conversation soon turned to the Tory government after Sir Rod Stewart revealed he's abandoned his "long time" support for the Tories during a surprise call to a Sky News debate on the NHS crisis.

Later addressing how £15m has been spent on useless PPE, Carol noted she couldn't accurately speak about the topic without mentioning her former friend Michelle Mone.
The presenter said: "She was brought into the House of Lords as a baroness by David Cameron. We know she has taken leave of absence without losing the Tory Whip because she was actively involved with a company called PPE Medpro."
"Michelle Mone I knew many years ago and then dropped her like a stone when I realised what kind of person she was," she added.
Looking down the lens and raising her hands, Carol quipped: "Sue me Michelle."
The Pride of Britain Awards presenter explained: "She lives in the Isle of Man with her husband Doug Barrowman who has been involved with numerous," before Alison was forced to cut her off mid-sentence.
"Carol can I just say, she's not here to defend herself," the Big Brother star interjected:
"No she's not here to defend herself," Carol agreed, adding: "I'm repeating what has been said in the press and has been proven to be true."
The star added: "We all know it's a scandal."
Sharing their thoughts on social media, viewers praised Carol as one penned: "Carol Vorderman ripping Michelle Mone to shreds then looking to camera and saying “sue me Michelle”. Go on girl."
"#ThisMorning Go Carol – tell it like it is. About time someone did!," added another person.
Someone else echoed: "How refreshing to have somebody like Carol Vorderman spit facts about things that most people don’t want to draw attention to on mainstream television."
