‘A Star Is Born’ & ‘Vice’ Lead The Way For Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts’ International Awards

A Star Is Born and Vice are leading the way for nominations for the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts’ International Awards.

The Bradley Cooper-directed feature scored five nominations, while Adam McKay’s Dick Cheney pic has been nommed four times at the awards, which are held on Friday 4 January 2019 at the Mondrian hotel in LA.

Nicole Kidman has been nominated in both best lead and best supporting actor or actress for her performances in Destroyer and Boy Erased.

“The AACTA International Awards give Australian filmmakers the opportunity to participate in and add their uniquely Australian perspective to the global conversation of screen excellence,” said AFI / AACTA CEO Damian Trewhella. “This year’s nominees truly represent international filmmaking excellence, and we are very proud to see many of our talented Australian practitioners and performers among these nominees.
