WWE commentator Mauro Ranallo in miracle escape from horror Xmas car crash

The NXT announcer was travelling on Christmas Eve when he was caught up  in the shocking smash.

The 49-year-old walked away unhurt from the accident, which looked to have involved two vehicles.

He posted images of the scene on his Instagram, which showed debris strewn across the road.

Ranallo said: "An Angel was looking over me last night. A car lost control and smashed into me at full speed.

"Happy to report that no one was seriously injured. I’m still in shock.

"I guess my work here isn’t done yet. #ChristmasMiracle."

It is not known where the accident took place, but would have been somewhere in North America.

Ranallo – known for his 'Mamma Mia' catchphrase – works across the United States as he followed the WWE's developmental brand around.

But he comes from Canada and could have been home for the holiday season in British Colombia.

The commentator is known all over the world for his distinctive voice on WWE, boxing and MMA bouts.

He is also a well-known speaker of mental health issues after suffering with bipolar disorder.
