Watch Jordi Alba score stunning volley into top corner during blistering start to Barcelona clash with Atletico Madrid

JORDI ALBA produced a STUNNING volley to draw Barcelona level against Atletico Madrid in a frantic start to their LaLiga clash.

Yannick Carrasco gave the Spanish champions the lead after just eight minutes when Luis Suarez squared for him to tuck home and silence the Nou Camp.

But Barcelona were level less than two minutes later in sensational style.

Dani Alves chipped a crossfield ball over to Alba just inside the penalty area and the Spaniard fizzed a supreme strike into the top corner.

Reacting to the strike, one social media user said: "That is an unbelievable goal from Jordi Alba to bring Barcelona level against Atletico Madrid!"

Another added: "Holy s**t, Jordi Alba has just scored a LUDICROUS volley!!"

And a third said: "The technique, on the volley, one of the best goals I’ve seen for a long time.

"Take a bow Jordi Alba."

But they are now back together again after Alves returned in the January transfer window.

And Barca would go into half-time in front as another returning signing came up with an assist.

But Barca were not done there.

Two minutes before the break they made it 3-1 as Ronald Araujo fired home a rebound after Gerard Pique's header had crashed off the crossbar.
