Tyson Fury speaks with 'sexy' husky voice after being punched in throat during training

TYSON FURY has revealed he has been left with a blood clot in his throat after being punched there in training.

For the past two years, Fury has spoken with a noticeably husky voice, and this is set to continue as the boxer has no plans to remove the clot.

The Gypsy King will make his return to the boxing ring after more than two-and-a-half years out at the Manchester Arena on June 9.

And part of his "journey" back has been his voice changing to "sexy", as he explained to SunSport.

He said: "I don’t believe I will get it sorted as it’s all part of my journey.

"It adds more pain to my story. I got punched in the throat in training camp over two years ago and they found a blood clot in the throat.

"It's not life threatening as it can’t go anywhere, but it causes me to speak husky.

"A lot of people find that quite sexy to be honest but it’s the new me, a new voice.
