Thierry Henry gives Monaco star brutal stare for not tucking chair in during press conference with Benoît Badiashile

The former Arsenal striker was given an uphill task of turning around the Ligue 1 side's fortunes when he was appointed boss in October.

With his side second from bottom in the table, the 41-year-old is doing his best to get his leadership qualities across to his side.

And youngster Benoit Badiashile felt the wrath of the Frenchman after the end of a press conference.

After answering questions ahead of Monaco's Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund, both player and manager headed for the exit door.

But Henry's route was blocked because Badiashile, 17, failed to tuck in his chair.

Henry looked less than impressed with his actions and called him back before ordering him to move his chair under the table.

The manager's stare said it all and the young defender gave him a sheepish glance before doing what he was told.

Henry is under no illusions about the size of the challenge facing him at Monaco.

They have crashed out of the Champions League without a whimper after picking up just one point in their opening five matches.

He also failed to win his first six league matches as boss but a victory against relegation-rivals Amiens in their last outing has given the French side a glimmer of hope that they can climb up the league.

Tonight's clash against Dortmund is followed by an away trip to Lyon on Sunday.
