Spurs fans rage at Gary Neville for constantly linking Pochettino to Man Utd throughout thrashing of Everton

As Spurs dished out a thrashing to Everton at Goodison Park, their fans were getting protective over their Argentinian boss

Pochettino is many of the United legends' favourite to take the manager job on a permanent basis and Neville is no different.

But as Neville praised Poch, Tottenham fans felt he was making the case for why he should move to Old Trafford, rather than discussing which level he could take his current club to.

Tottenham's 6-2 thrashing of Everton puts them in third place and five points clear of fourth place Chelsea.

But several Spurs fans were more distracted by the Sky Sports' pundit's comments rather than the eight goal thriller.

One said: "Hi Gary, Any chance instead of disrespecting our club and manager could you talk about the game today please."

While another told the United legend that the world did not begin and end with Manchester United.

Yesterday, the Red Devils' all-time leading goal scorer Wayne Rooney made it clear that Pochettino was his number one choice for the permanent job.

Sir Alex Ferguson is also reportedly championing Poch behind the scenes.
