Sevilla brilliantly troll Manchester United with 'best moment of 2018' tweet

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is trying to round off 2018 in a positive way, the Red Devils have been reminded of one of their worst nights of the year.

Back in March, under sacked boss Jose Mourinho, United were dumped out of the Champions League by the Spanish side.

So Sevilla took to Twitter to ask fans what their favourite moment of 2018 was.

They gave four options – and three of them were "knocking Man U out of the CL".

The fourth choice, voted by only 14 per cent of fans, is "Other (comment below)".

Substitute Wissam Ben Yedder scored twice in a remarkable four minute spell towards the end to dump out the Red Devils.

Romelu Lukaku’s strike a few minutes from the end was a pitiful, empty consolation.

Ben Yedder, causing havoc after coming on as a substitute, finished off United when he got another.

His shirt was off in celebration, throwing it to the ground after ending United’s Champions League ambitions.

Lukaku pulled a goal back six minutes from time, but by then they needed three.

That, as anybody watching this shocker knew, was never going to happen.

And Sevilla are all too happy to post a flashback to their famous night.
