Pochettino admits he could get Spurs axe… but he won’t go grey worrying about it – The Sun

MAURICIO POCHETTINO has admitted for the first time his job is under threat at Tottenham.
But the beleaguered Spurs boss will not go grey worrying about his future.
Poch, whose team host Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday, has faced calls to quit after winning just three of their 12 matches this season.
He said: “I understand the business, I am 47. Look, why do you think I don’t have white hair? Because I don’t pay attention to any of this.
"I only pay attention about what we need to improve our performance.
“And if we don’t improve our performance, what is going to be the result? It’s always the same.”
Pochettino guided Spurs to their first-ever Champions League final in June.
But he now finds himself under pressure after a terrible start to this campaign — including a 7-2 humiliation by Bayern Munich in their last European outing.
Poch said: “I’m not surprised, this is football.
"If you don’t perform as people expect, it’s normal.
“Football is always about winning today — what happened yesterday is gone. Managers and coaching staff always need to win today and tomorrow.”
