Man Utd transfer news LIVE: Haaland and Declan Rice top targets, Camavinga interest 'accelerated', Saul Niguez update
ERLING HAALAND will leave Borussia Dortmund next summer even if they win the Bundesliga, according to reports from Germany.
And Manchester United are said to be firmly at the head of the race to sign Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's fellow Norwegian.
Solskjaer is also said to be keen on Declan Rice, reportedly believing the Red Devils will never be able to challenge for the title without him.
But a more realistic transfer target this summer could be Eduardo Camavinga, with United said to have "accelerated" their interest in the Rennes man.
There are also reports that theRed Devils are prepared to sign Saul Niguez this transfer window, but it must be on an initial loan basis.
And Man Utd can still beat Arsenal to the signature of Kieran Trippier if they choose to, with the defender reportedly set on a move to Old Trafford.

NEVES LATEST
Ruben Neves is a player of interest for United, according to transfer Fabrizio Romano on The Here We Go Podcast.

RONALDO TO CITY – TOM MCDERMOTT'S FAN VIEW
For United fans, the thought of Cristiano Ronaldo joining the 'noisy neighbours' is one that is hard to accept.
Andy Cole, Peter Schmeichel and Dennis Law have represented both teams.
But I'm with Gary Neville when he says that there are certain clubs a former Manchester United player shouldn't join – and City are one.
Ronaldo's impact at United was incredible but those memories would be tarnished if he joined City's pursuit of domestic and European honours.

LOOK OUT, KEANE
Man Utd youngster Amad Diallo will wear the legendary No16 shirt at Old Trafford this season.
The jersey was made famous by former captain Roy Keane in the nineties and noughties before Michael Carrick inherited it.
Discussing the move, Diallo said: "When I was told that I was getting the number 16 shirt, I was happy.
"I know that Michael Carrick had previously worn that shirt for a long time and so it is a number worn by a legend of the club.
"So I have to respect the number and the players who wore it before me."

And Sporting director Leonardo is thought to be expecting the player to stick to a pledge to not leave for free, according to French outlet Le Parisien.

ROBSON ON STRIKERS
United hero Bryan Robson has been discussing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s forward options in an interview with the club’s website.
Robson said: "Ole has got Anthony Martial or Paul to the left, then you’ve got Dan James and you’ve got Jadon Sancho on the right – or Mason Greenwood if you want to play him there.
"And then Donny van de Beek and Bruno Fernandes, Juan Mata, they’re going to give you great attacking options for that free role just in behind the forwards.
“Edinson Cavani, through the middle as striker, and Martial can definitely play there as well.
"But you’ve also got the option now, with Mason being a year older and getting that little bit stronger, can Mason make a real mark for himself? Because he is a tremendous finisher.
"So there are great options."

Let's take a look at Man Utd's trophy cabinet…
The Red Devils have won a record 20 league titles, although Liverpool are just behind on 19.
United are just the second English team to have won the Champions League, Europa League and the now defunct Cup Winners' Cup after Chelsea.
Fans will be desperate to add to this impressive tally this season and end a five-year trophy drought at Old Trafford.

According to transfer specialist Duncan Castles, United are considering a move for the teenage midfielder before the end of the window.
Camavinga, 18, has one year left on his Rennes contract.
United are also believed to be interested in Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, 21, but not Atletico Madrid ace Saul Niguez.

HE'S THE RON
Manchester City have reportedly offered Cristiano Ronaldo a two-year contract after missing out on Harry Kane.
But rumours suggest the English champs don't want to pay a transfer fee for the 36-year-old forward – a legend at rivals Manchester United.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, City are offering to pay Ronaldo around £230,000-a-week.
And it's believed the English club want to keep fellow forward Gabriel Jesus – despite earlier reports suggesting a swap deal could be possible.

FER WARNING
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has tipped Arsenal to scrape a top-half finish in the Premier League this season after their horror start.
The Gunners suffered 2-0 defeats in their opening two matches – firstly away at Brentford and then at home to Chelsea.
Ferdinand told his FIVE YouTube channel: "I would be happy with top ten if I was you lot [Arsenal fans].
"I think you will finish ninth. Let me look at the league table right now, you’re 19th right now.
"Brighton would bang up Arsenal right now! Brighton would be a problem for you lot!"

'GOOD MIX'
Bryan Robson has backed United's midfield to deliver this season.
The icon told the club's official website: "I think we have a good mix.
"Ole often likes to play with two defensive midfielders and he’s got good options in there with Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay and Fred.
"Then we have the attacking options. In certain games, if you feel you’re going to be really dominant, do you really need two defensive midfielders or can you put Paul Pogba in there?
"That’s going to be another attacking option to getting forward and scoring goals.
"With Paul, I think Ole’s got the option of where to play him. He proved last season that he can play to the left side of the attack as well."

ROBBO'S VERDICT
United legend Bryan Robson has been discussing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team in an interview with the club's official website.
On the goalkeepers, Robson said: "We've got two top goalkeepers in David De Gea and Dean Henderson.
"There’s great experience with David, and Dean is an up-and-coming player who really wants to kick on. So that’s great competition.
"And then also Tom Heaton and Lee Grant have a lot of experience. So we’re looking very strong as far as the goalkeeping position is concerned."

PHIL JONES LATEST
United defender Phil Jones could still leave Old Trafford before the transfer deadline following interest from Championship club Fulham.
According to 90min, Fulham are among a handful of Championship teams considering a move for Jones.
The most likely scenario would be a loan – with United still paying the majority of his wages – but it could give him regular playing time.
Jones hasn't played competitive football for the Red Devils since January 2020, with Newcastle and Watford also thought to be keen.

MORNING MAN UTD FANS
The Red Devils have drawn West Ham at home in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
United will welcome the Hammers to Old Trafford in the week commencing September 20.
Elsewhere, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has all-but-confirmed that United’s transfer business this summer is finished.
However, the boss has refused to rule out the possibility of a late arrival, cheekily saying ‘you never know in football’.
Solskjaer told Arilas Ould-Saada: “I don’t think much is going to happen. If something happens, it’s a bonus.
“You never know what happens in the world of football.
“But we’ve had a very good window. I’m happy with what we’ve done.”
Marcus Rashford also returned to training after shoulder surgery.
He was pictured doing some light running drills and having a chat with Solskjaer at Carrington.
Finally, it emerged United are in pole position to sign Erling Haaland for just £64million next summer.
The Red Devils are one of many teams tracking the Borussia Dortmund striker.
But with his release clause set to kick in, Bild say United may well be at the front of the queue to secure a cut-price deal – especially because the ex-Molde man 'dreams' of playing in the Premier League.
However, that would mean having to deal with Mino Raiola to get the transfer done because the controversial agent represents Haaland.
Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping his personal ties with his compatriot can also ensure United win the race for the man widely considered one of the very best strikers in world football.

RONBELIEVABLE
Cristiano Ronaldo's camp will step up their efforts to get him a move to Manchester City this week.
The champions saw their hopes of landing England captain Harry Kane finally dashed on Wednesday.
And the United legend will hope it could open the door for him to make a sensational return to Manchester.
Ronaldo, 36, is looking to engineer a move out of Juventus before the transfer window closes on Tuesday. City have been cool on the prospect of signing him since reports first surfaced earlier this month and that remains the case.
But Pep Guardiola is now faced with continuing a busy season without replacing all-time record goalscorer Sergio Aguero.
So it will be up to Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes to put forward a proposal which would tempt the City hierarchy to change their minds.
