Man Utd eye cut price international goalkeeper transfer to rival Onana with Henderson and Heaton set to go | The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED are considering a £5million move for another goalkeeper despite Andre Onana's recent arrival.

Turkish international goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is reportedly being considered by United as potential competition for Onana.

According to the Daily Mail, Fenerbahce expect Bayindir to leave this summer.

The Turkish club have been in talks with Croatia No1 Dominik Livakovic, who plays for Dinamo Zagreb, as replacement.

Bayindir, 25, would only cost around £5million and would have to accept his role as back-up to Onana.

The 6ft 6in keeper made his full debut for Turkey in 2021 and currently has five full international caps.

England international Dean Henderson is set to leave United and join Nottingham Forest.

There are talks whether this is a permanent move or another loan spell with an obligation to buy this time.

With Henderson likely to be heading out the door, that would leave 37-year old Tom Heaton as United's No2.

However Heaton has also been linked with a move to Luton Town with an opportunity to be their No1.
