Jermain Defoe poses with girlfriend Alisha on red carpet at Pride of Britain Awards – despite links to wedding planner | The Sun

JERMAIN DEFOE and girlfriend Alisha LeMay impressed on the red carpet for the Pride of Britain Awards.

The former England striker looked elegant in a black suit as he posed alongside Alisha.

She matched her partner and looked classy in a black dress – but her relationship with Defoe has caused quite a stir.

That is because Defoe has been accused of cheating with Alisha by his ex-wife Donna Tierney.

Defoe, 41, split with Donna earlier this year – less than six months after their £200,000 OK! magazine wedding.

Donna accused Alisha, 31, of trying to “devalue” her by wearing a fake engagement ring.

That came after Defoe was linked to wedding planner Paige Bethany Mallabourn-Edmondson, 28.

Paige's mum told The Sun on Sunday that her daughter was in a "relationship" with the former Tottenham star.

But Defoe and Alisha were all smiles for the Pride of Britain Awards, which airs on Thursday.

The pair are believed to have moved into a £3million mansion earlier this year.

Defoe was also accused of cheating on his former wife with a nurse he began sexting – it is claimed he tried to lure her for a romp in his Range Rover.

Defoe also played for West Ham, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Sunderland and Glasgow Rangers and won 57 England caps, scoring 20 international goals.

He is well known for his charity work and was awarded an OBE in 2018.
