JAMIE VARDY has surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo's Premier League goal tally after Leicester's demolition of Newcastle.
The red-hot Foxes striker scored twice against the hapless Toon to leapfrog Manchester United legend Ronaldo.
Vardy now has 85 Premier League goals compared to the 84 Ronnie scored before joining Real Madrid in 2009.
What's more, he's got them in 13 fewer games (183).
But the Ronaldo faithful will point to the eight trophies he won during his time at Old Trafford, compared to the single, albeit incredible, Premier League title Vardy has claimed.
Juventus superstar Ronaldo, 34, is not the only one trailing the Leicester ace when it comes to goals, with ex-United team-mate Carlos Tevez also on 84.
Vardy is joined on 85 by Eden Hazard, Fernando Torres and Louis Saha, with Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp just two strikes ahead.
The former England forward, 32, is in blistering form, and nobody has scored more than him since Brendan Rodgers was appointed Leicester boss in March.
In that time, Vardy has bagged 14 goals in 17 appearances.
Amazingly, the speedy striker is averaging only 28 touches of the ball per game, while Ronaldo had more than three times as many during his Prem stint with 69.

Vardy, who has five Prem goals this season, retired from England duty last August after playing second fiddle to Harry Kane.
But Leicester manager Rodgers insists he would not swap his player for the Tottenham star.
He said: "I wouldn’t swap Jamie. I don’t think there is any doubt his record shows he is up there alongside Harry.
“I wouldn’t say he is any better than Jamie Vardy. They are different types and different qualities.
“It is your preference. I like a striker who can really penetrate in behind and has that speed to get away and also score goals.
“The strides Harry has made over these last number of years has been brilliant. With his focus and the goals he has scored he has become a real talisman for Tottenham and his country.
“But they are two different strikers with different qualities. Jamie gives a different threat and different penetration. His pace is frightening and he is a joy to work with.
“He has so much to his game – that hunger and appetite and ability to score. He is a striker with speed that can stretch the game in behind.
“I have worked closely with Jamie for a period of time and there are not too many in world football I would swap him for. He has this incredible knack in terms of the pressing and reading the game and is tactically aware.
“At this level in the most competitive league in the world , he is up with the very elite strikers. I am very fortunate to have him here.”
