Isaac Hayden sent off for horror tackle on Dennis Praet with Leicester on top against Newcastle – The Sun

NEWCASTLE'S Isaac Hayden was shown a straight red for a dangerous lunge into Dennis Praet.
The Toon were already facing an uphill battle to get anything from their away fixture after falling behind to a cracking Ricardo Pereira strike.
But their task was made even harder just minutes before half-time when Hayden was given his marching orders.
Sean Longstaff lost a battle with Ayoze Perez and with the loose ball up for grabs, Hayden and Praet were involved in 50-50.
Taking no prisoners, the Newcastle defender lunged in with a high boot and clattered into the Leicester midfielder.
Referee Craig Pawson had little choice but to show Hayden a straight red card despite the protests of his team-mates.
Manager Steve Bruce's face was a picture as he stood in the pouring rain assessing how he was going to get something out of the game.
Striker Yoshinori Muto was immediately sacrificed with Sung-Yong Ki on to replace him.
Praet was stricken on the turf for a number of minutes as he received treatment but was considered okay to continue.
It took 16 minutes for Leicester to take the lead when Pereira burst through a gaping gap in the Newcastle midfielder before drilling a shot into the bottom corner.
