Harry Kane will be Premier League's best paid player earning staggering £400k per WEEK after Man City transfer

HARRY KANE is set to become the Premier League's top earner after moving to Manchester City.

Spurs have dug their heels in over keeping their talismanic striker.

But SunSport exclusively revealed that chairman Daniel Levy has changed his mind, and is now willing to allow Kane to move to Man City this summer.

The England captain is understood to have agreed personal terms on a £400,000-a-week deal at the Etihad Stadium.

This figure doubles his Tottenham wage, and would see him become the Premier League's highest paid player.

The current top earner is Man City star Kevin De Bruyne – who Kane said he'd be most excited to play with during his May interview with Gary Neville.

The Belgian earns £385,000-a-week at City, having penned a contract extension to 2025 back in May.

In joint third are Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Manchester United new boy Jadon Sancho.

The duo earn £350k-a-week at their respective clubs.

Arsenal awarded Aubameyang the deal at the end of the 2019-20 season, when their skipper had just one year remaining on his previous contract.

Sancho, meanwhile, is set to join United from Dortmund, with a deal sewn up subject to formal registration.

Chelsea's Champions League final hero Kai Havertz is in fifth, having signed a £310k-a-week deal after joining from Leverkusen for upwards of £70million last summer.

Raheem Sterling reportedly earns £300,000-a-week with City, although the England hero has been named as a one of the players that could be included in a deal for Kane.

His incredible performances for Gareth Southgate's side this summer make a Man City departure in a Kane deal unlikely, however.

Paul Pogba is next up on £290k-a-week at Man United, although the Frenchman has been linked with a summer switch to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 28-year-old has just one year remaining on his Red Devils deal.

Timo Werner reportedly pockets £270k-a-week at Chelsea, following his move from RB Leipzig last summer.

While Man Utd striking duo Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial round off the top ten on £250k-a-week apiece – despite the fact that they've rarely played together.
